Valve notes in a blog post on Steam say that manufacturing is moving along more quickly than anticipated and will forward certain reservations. A portion of the reservations for Q4 2022 (October 2022 – December 2022) will be shifted to Q3 (July 2022 – September 2022). Therefore, you may receive your console earlier than expected. The blog post also goes on. Newer reservations will be in the Q4 2022 window, while everyone else after Q4 2022 has been pushed back into that timeframe. There may be some reservations that extend into the first quarter of 2023 (January 2023 to March 2023) if line-ups grow to be too long for this window.
