Insider Jason Schreier clarified in a recent tweet about the game’s release date and the talk around it.

— Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) August 19, 2022 Up until this past July, it became known that the game’s production had been halted indefinitely when according to reports, this occurred as a result of Aspyr, the game’s creators, showing PlayStation an unsatisfactory game demo. Aspyr halted development of the game, however current information suggests that a different firm is now in charge of the remade version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Saber Interactive, the parent company of Aspyr, will now oversee the game’s development. Further confirmation of this came from Embracer Group’s disclosure that one of their “AAA projects has relocated to another company.” Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake has faced several hindrances when it comes to the development and testing of the game. With the change of studios and multiple insider reports, it is estimated that the release of the remake isn’t soon enough.
